Milan Rapaić

Milan Rapaić ( born August 16, 1973 in Nova Gradiska ) is a Croatian football player.

His professional career began in 1991 with Hajduk Split, moved to Perugia Calcio 1996 and after four years to Fenerbahce where he got his nickname RAP -RAP in Turkey. After an unsuccessful year in Italy when relegated AC Ancona Rapaić moved back to Croatia. He then played three years for the Belgian club Standard Liege. In the spring of 2008, he joined the Croatian second division club HNK Trogir. His greatest successes came with Hajduk Split, where he was in 1992, 1994, 1995 and 2004 champion.

His first international match Rapaić graduated in 1994, up to the 2002 World Cup but was used only 20 times. After 2002, he scored the winning goal against Italy at the World Cup in Japan and South Korea, he was a regular player. He had the choice between Croatia and Serbia (since he is a Serb from Croatia), but decided to Croatia

Rapaić denies the games mostly as an attacking midfielder or on the left side, even though he is a skilled striker. He is known for his spectacular free kick goals from long distances.
