Milk & Honey (group)

Milk & Honey ( Milk & Honey ) is a German pop duo. It was founded in 2006 with the two singers Anne Ross and Manel Filali. The duo in late 2006 with his debut single Habibi became famous ( je t'aime ).

Nearly a year after Ross got out of the casting tape Preluders, the German music producer Uwe Fahrenkrog -Petersen participated in the singer. Occupation

Anne ( "Milk" ) Ross ( born March 17, 1985 in Dersum ) grew up in northern Germany. Getting into the entertainment business she succeeded in the summer of 2003 through the talent show Popstars - Das Duell. In the course of the show she won against numerous competitors and eventually became a member of the girl group Preluders. With the first single of the band Ross in 2003 reached number one on the German charts in December. After another great success failed to materialize and the musical work stagnated, she left the end of 2005, the third of the original five members of the group.

Manel ( "Honey" ) Filali ( born December 11, 1981 in Algiers ) comes from Algeria. Even as a child she moved with her family to Paris, where she was musically influenced by French-language rap. Since 2009 she is married to a professional football player Karim Matmour from 1 FC Kaiserslautern.
