Minto Midtown

The Minto Midtown is a residential complex consisting of two high-rise buildings (Quantum 1 and 2) in Toronto, Canada. The buildings are located on Yonge Street near the intersection with Eglinton Street. They were built by the Canadian real estate company Minto Developments Inc.. The construction of the building was met with criticism. Was particularly critical of their height. Minto Developments agreed to reduce the height of the building, so were a few floors away. Nevertheless, there are the tallest buildings in the vicinity.

Opposite the building there is the metro station Eglinton.

LEED

The buildings were designed as energy-saving. They were awarded after the completion of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED ) Gold status. It is the largest residential building in North America, which in 2009 reached a gold status.
