Eglinton (TTC)

Eglinton is an underground subway station in Toronto. It lies on the Yonge- University - Spadina line of the Toronto Subway, at the intersection of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue. The station, which is located opposite the residential complex Minto Midtown, has a central platform and is used daily by an average of 70 720 passengers (2009 /10).

It offers connecting flights to ten bus lines, which provides for a higher than average frequenting. In addition, the station building has several shops. In the vicinity are the studios of TVOntario, the Canada Square Complex and the Eglinton Park. The opening of the station on 30 March 1954 together with the portion Union - Eglinton Yonge Subway, the oldest subway on Canadian soil.
