Minuscule 10

Minuscule 10 ( in the Gregory- Aland numbering ), ε 372 ( Soden), is a Greek Minuskelhandschrift of the New Testament on 275 parchment leaves ( 18.9 x 15 cm). Using palaeography was dated the manuscript to the 13th century. It was written by 24 -column lines.

Description

The Code contains the complete text of the four Gospels, the canon Eusebischen and Synaxarium.

The Greek text of this codex is largely a mixture of different types of text.

History

The manuscript dates from Byzantium. According to the inscription, it was passed in 1439 the library of Canon Law in Verona from Dorotheus Archbishop of Mitylene, when he visited in 1438 the Council of Florence. Originally owned the manuscript Jean Hurault Boistaller (as well as 9, 203, 263, 301, 306 and 314).

It was in private hands and was Peter Plate, as well as 11, 13

Scholz (1794-1852) examined only the text of Mark 1-4 and John 5-8.

The Code is currently in the Bibliothèque nationale de France ( Gr. 91) in Paris.
