Minuscule 52
Minuscule 52 ( in the Gregory- Aland numbering ), ε 345 ( von Soden ), is a Greek Minuskelhandschrift of the New Testament on 158 parchment leaves ( 16.5 x 12.5 cm). Using palaeography was dated the manuscript to the 13th century.
Description
The Code contains the complete text of the four Gospels. It was written with one column per row 27-30. The Code contains Prolegomena, κεφαλαια, Ammonianische sections Eusebische canon formation, and signatures.
The Greek text of Codex represents the Byzantine text-type and the category V is assigned.
History
The manuscript belonged to the monk Joasaph. William Laud received the manuscript in 1640. John Mill and Griesbach compared.
The Code is currently in the Bodleian Library ( Laud. Gr. 3) in Oxford.
