Minuscule 88

Minuscule 88 ( in the Gregory- Aland numbering ), α 200 ( von Soden ), is a Greek Minuskelhandschrift of the New Testament on 123 parchment leaves ( 26.5 × 18.6 cm). Using palaeography was dated the manuscript to the 12th century. The manuscript is complete.

Description

The manuscript contains the text of the New Testament except the Gospels. He has written one column with 28 rows. The manuscript contains Prolegomena, lists of κεφαλαια and στιχοι. It contains the Comma Johanneum ( added as a marginal note in the 16th century).

The order of the books is Acts, Catholic Epistles, Pauline Epistles, and Revelation of John. The book of Hebrews is listed as the last book of Paul.

The manuscript was examined by Andreas Birch and Johann Martin Augustin Scholz.
