Minuscule 90

Minuscule 90 ( in the Gregory- Aland numbering ), δ 652 ( von Soden ), is a Greek Minuskelhandschrift of the New Testament in two volumes, 227 253 sheets of paper ( 20.5 × 14.3 cm). Using palaeography was dated the manuscript to the 16th century. The manuscript is complete.

Description

The manuscript contains the text of the New Testament except the Revelation of John. He has written one column each with 17-30 rows. The manuscript contains κεφαλαια (Greek and Latin), τιτλοι, Ammonianische sections, the Eusebischen canon, lectionary markings, and Synaxarion.

The order of the books is: Gospel according to John, Luke, Matthew, Mark, Acts, Catholic Epistles, and Paul's letters. The book of Hebrews is listed as the last book of Paul. The Epistle of Jude is written twice from different copies.

The Greek text of this codex is a representative of the Byzantine text-type. Aland placed it in Category V.

History

Perhaps the manuscript of tiny 74 was copied.

The manuscript was collated by Johann Jakob Wettstein.

Earlier, it was held in Hamburg. The Code is currently in the University of Amsterdam ( Remonstrantisch reforms Church 186 ) in Amsterdam.
