Mitchell Donald

Donald Mitchell ( born December 10, 1988 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch footballer who also had next to the Surinamese nationality. In the 2011/12 season, the midfielder is the pro squad of the Dutch first division club Roda JC Kerkrade.

Career

Association

Donald since 1996 has played at youth level by Ajax Amsterdam, before joining the senior squad in the winter of 2006/07 season. On 14 February 2007, the midfielder then came to his competitive debut. In the UEFA Cup, the then Ajax coach Henk ten Cate him changed in the 72nd minute for Kenneth Perez in the match against Werder Bremen. The game was lost 0-3. Even before the start of the season 2007 /08 was Donald in the match for the Johan Cruyff Schaal used. Ajax sat down 1-0 against PSV Eindhoven and by the youngster celebrated his first Cup win. On winning the KNVB Cup, the end of the preseason, he was not directly involved. In the second half of 2009/10 he was able to play matches at Willem II in Tilburg. In February 2011, he signed a three-year contract, beginning with the 2011/12 season, the league rivals Roda JC Kerkrade.

National

Donald graduated six games for the U -20 in the Netherlands. He then moved on to the U -21. In 2009 he was appointed to the cadre of the U -21 for the tournament of Toulon.
