Modrová

Modrová ( until 1927 slovak " VeLka Modrovka "; Großmodro German, Hungarian Nagymodró ) is a municipality in western Slovakia.

The town was first mentioned in writing in 1348 as Madro and is located approximately 17 kilometers southeast of the town of Nové Mesto nad Váhom on the edge of the mountain Inowetz.
