Moestafa El Kabir (Arabic: مصطفى الكبير; born October 5, 1988 in Targuist ) is a Moroccan football player. The striker played his career in the Netherlands, Sweden and Italy.
Career
The Moroccan-born El Kabir grew up in the Netherlands, where his father worked. He started late to play in organized football club and was active in youth initially at Blauw - Wit Amsterdam, before he moved to the youth department of the then record champions Ajax Amsterdam in 2005. Later he went to the competitors Feyenoord Rotterdam. After a stomach muscle injury he did not come there for the course and had to pause for half a year due to surgery. About the FC Utrecht he joined NEC Nijmegen.
In NEC Nijmegen El Kabir debuted in November 2008 in the match against NAC Breda in the Eredivisie. By the end of the season he came irregularly used and was able to win a regular place in midfield thanks to good performances in preparation for season 2009/10. However, he always fell back on by lack of discipline, which ultimately culminated in his suspension in February 2010. To date, he had played 21 league games for the club from the Gelderland, had remained without a goal in the championship.
In March 2010, El Kabir joined the Swedish Erstligaaufsteiger Mjallby AIF, in which he signed a two and a half year contract. In the Allsvenskan, he quickly became a regular player and played on the side of Marcus Ekenberg, Tobias Grahn, Patrik Rosengren and Mattias Asper until the end of the season 24 season games.
