Patrik Rosengren

Patrik Rosengren ( born July 25, 1971 in Sölvesborg ) is a former Swedish football player. The defender won with Kalmar FF each time the Swedish championship and the national cup.

Career

Rosengren learned to play football in the youth of Mjallby AIF. As a youngster he moved in the late 1980s to the squad of its time second-rate competition team. After the descent of the club in the third division in late 1990 he established himself as a regular player and returned to the club the following year already again in the second highest league back. Here he kept his place, although the club again took only mediocre in the seasons 1994 and 1995. The end of 1999, he qualified the club for the newly introduced single-track Superettan as the second division in Sweden. With each 29 stakes he wore twice to reach the relegation place to Allsvenskan in, but the team failed to BK Hacken respectively IFK Norrköping.

Rosengren, however, had higher class convinced and with the beginning of 2002 he joined the first division side Kalmar FF. Under coach Nanne mountain beach he belonged with his new club directly to the core of players, but the team was relegated at the end of the 2002 from the Swedish House of Lords from. In the following season, a duel with IF Elfsborg developed for the championship. With 22 stakes again Rosengren was ultimately involved in the first win of the championship title at the side of players like Viktor Elm, Henrik Rydström and Rasmus Elm. Nevertheless, after he left dne club and returned to his hometown club back, in which he a one-year contract signed shortly after the end of the season. With the club he was promoted to the Allsvenskan and in the following years he extended his contract by one each season. In October 2012, he finally announced the end of the active career at the age of 41 years to the end of the season.

The end of November it was announced that Rosengren is provided as a future junior coach Mjallby AIF.
