Arthur Sorin

Arthur Sorin ( born 1 November 1985 in Laval ) is a French football player. The son of former professionals Michel Sorin played several years in northern Europe and was each time Swedish champion and cup winner.

Career

Career Start in France

Sorin was active in his youth solely for Stade Rennes. In 2003, he won the junior team the Coupe Gambardella, the French Cup competition for youth teams. In the final match he came from 84 minutes to a short stint, as he came in to replace Sylvain Macé. Two years later he received together with the young players and Stéphane Mbia Simon Pouplin a professional contract with the club. Two months later, the club announced a lending transaction with the amateur club Vannes Olympique Club. After a year he returned to Stade Rennes, but could not prevail there, and ran only on the reserve team.

Success in Sweden

During the winter break of the 2006 /07 Sorin therefore left his homeland and joined the Swedish club Kalmar FF. In the Allsvenskan he established himself as a regular in the left side of defense. With the club he reached in his first year in Sweden next to the runner-up the cup final.
