Mohamed Atta

Mohammed Atta ( full name is Muḥammad Muḥammad al - Aamir ' Awad al- Sayyid ' Ata ' - Arabic محمد عطا السيد, Muḥammad ʿ DMG Atta al- Sayyid, born September 1, 1968 in Kafr al- Sheikh, Egypt; † 11 September 2001 in New York ) was an Islamist terrorist and one of the perpetrators of the attacks on 11 September 2001.

Life

Atta was born in Kafr al- Sheikh, an Egyptian city in the Nile Delta. His father was a lawyer. He also had a Saudi Arabian passport. Atta grew up in Cairo and completed an architecture degree with a diploma. He then moved to Germany and studied under the name of Mohamed el -Amir 1992-1999 Urban development / urban planning at the Technical University of Hamburg -Harburg; He finished his studies as a graduate engineer in urban planning. Atta was one of five hijackers of American Airlines Flight 11, the first aircraft, which was controlled at the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001 in the United States at 8:46 clock in the north tower of the World Trade Center. The others were Abdulaziz al -Omari, Satam al Suquami, Wail al Shehri, and Waleed al Shehri. Probably Atta was their leader and flew the plane. He joined in the attack were killed.
