Moira Kelly
Moira Kelly ( born March 6, 1968 in New York City ) is an American actress.
Life and achievements
Kelly grew up in a large family of Irish descent. Her father was a musician, her mother was a nurse. She graduated in 1986, the Connetquot Senior High School and then studied at Marymount Manhattan College.
Kelly played her first role in a performance of theater at her high school. As a professional actress, she made her debut in the television thriller maze of lies from the year 1991. 's Biopic Chaplin, she performed alongside Robert Downey junior. In the film drama A light in my heart (1996 ) she played the role of Ann Mary Margaret Hawks, the daughter of Mildred Hawks ( Gena Rowlands ).
In the years 1999 to 2000 Kelly starred in the television series The West Wing. For this role she won in 2001 as a member of the actor ensemble Screen Actors Guild Award. For her role in the television series One Tree Hill, in which she played from 2003 to 2006, she was nominated in 2005 for the Teen Choice Award.
Kelly is since 2000 with Steve Hewitt, a Texas businessman, married and has two children.
