Moisés Dueñas

Moisés Dueñas Nevado (born 10 May 1981 in Salamanca ) is a Spanish cyclist.

Moisés Dueñas won a stage in 2002 Circuito Montanes. Professional, he was only in 2004 when the Spanish cycling team Relax- Bodysol. In 2005 he achieved top ten placings in the final standings of the Tour of Asturias, the Tour of Burgos and the Gran Premio de Llodio. Since 2006, Dueñas riding for the French Professional Continental team Agritubel. He took a wild card by his team participated in the Tour de France and finished it on the 61st overall. In the youth classification which resulted in fifth place behind Damiano Cunego. In September, he was still able to decide the Tour de l' Avenir for themselves. The leader's jersey he took over after his victory on the 6th stage and there was no let up until the end of the comprehensive ten stages race.

In the 2008 Tour de France, he was the morning of the eleventh stage on July 16, 2008 - lying in 19th place overall - face doping allegations and interrogated by the French police. In his A- sample from the fourth stage of the blood doping agent EPO was detected. During a subsequent search of his hotel room syringes, needles and transfusion bags were found. The B sample confirmed the positive test result. His team Barloworld suspended him due to the positive A- sample with immediate effect from the team and referred to a single act within the team, so as to prevent the disqualification of that team out of the race, would which occurred when the team systematic doping demonstrated would have been. Four days later Dueñas admitted to have doped, after which he was suspended for one year.
