Mons La Hire

The Mons La Hire is an approximately 10 × 20 km large island mountain in the Mare Imbrium on the Earth's moon. It was named in 1961 after the French mathematician and astronomer Gabriel -Philippe de La Hire. The summit has a height of 1.5 km above the ground.

Just a few kilometers north-east is the dorsum circle.
