Bala Falls

The Moon River is a river in the Muskoka District Municipality in the Canadian province of Ontario.

The Moon River forms towards the outflow of Lake Muskoka to Georgian Bay and Lake Huron. He leaves the Lake Muskoka in Bala. It first passes through the rapids of the "Moon Chute ". Then the Musquash River branches off to the left. With it some of the water flows off on a southerly and shortest path to the Georgian Bay. The Moon River continues its course continued in a westerly direction. He overcomes the following rapids: " Iceland Portage Falls", " Jackknife Rapids ", " Seven Sisters Rapids ", "Curtain Chute ", " Twin Rapids " and " Moon Falls". Finally he reached the Moon River Bay, the Bay Woods and the actual Georgian Bay.
