Morais Abreu

Morais Abreu (born 10 July 1968 Moxico ) is an Angolan beach volleyball player.

Career

Abreu played in 2007 his first tournaments at the FIVB World Tour with Emanuel Fernandes. The performances in this year, the two Angolans came on the 41st place, respectively. In 2008, she appeared also in some Grand Slams. In the Marseille Open, she reached the 25th place. She qualified for the Olympic Games in Beijing. There they had to compete against, among others, the two duos who later played for the bronze medal in their group matches. Fernandes / Abreu could not win a set and therefore eliminated in the first round of. After the Olympic tournament they went on with the Guarujá Open, before they parted ways.

Abreu was formed in late 2008 a new duo with Mario Silva. At the 2009 World Championships Abreu / Silva played in the preliminary round against, among others defending Rogers / Dalhausser. After three group matches they dropped out without winning any set. Then they played four Grand Slams and two open tournaments. Your best result here was the 25th place in Sanya. After a year without a World Tour Abreu / Silva returned in 2011 at the World Championships in Rome back. There, they met again on Rogers / Dalhausser and another U.S. duo. Like two years before they were able to win in their three group matches no sentence. Then they came for the Grand Slam in Stavanger and Gstaad and the Agadir Open respectively on the 41st. In 2012 she competed only in the Grand Slam in Rome.
