Morón, Buenos Aires

Morón is a city in Argentina in the eponymous municipality of Morón. The city is located in the province of Buenos Aires and has 92 725 inhabitants ( 2001).

Morón is reached via the Avenida Rivadavia, the Ruta Nacional 7 and the TBA Ferrocarril Domingo Faustino Sarmiento ( FCDFS ). In Morón Morón is the airport.

1891 Gregorio de laferrere was elected the first mayor morons. The city is since 1957 Bishop of the diocese of Moron. In 1960, the private University of Morón ( Universidad de Morón UM) was founded.
