Morrisville is a municipality in the state of Vermont in the United States with 1,958 inhabitants ( according to the census of 2010). Morrisville is one of several population centers of Morristown, from which it is politically and administratively dependent ( village). In the community, most public institutions of Town sit. Morrisville is located in the heart of the Green Mountains at a bend of the Lamoille River, a little to the east of some rapids, the Cady's Falls, where the water power was used before industrialization by some mills.

The Town was in 1781 sold to settlers, the place was but only with the first permanent settlements from 1792; an exact founding date is not occupied. The railway line Lunenburg Maquam reached Morrisville on December 31, 1872; until the closure of the passenger traffic in 1956 was a station in the resort.
