Moselle Hills

The Moselle mountains are a maximum of 434.1 m above sea level. NHN high ridge immediately to the left of the Moselle between Reil and Schweich in the Rhineland-Palatinate counties Bernkastel- Wittlich and Trier -Saar castle. On the southern slopes of the wooded mountains vines are grown.
Geography
Location
The Moselle mountains lie between Reil in the northeast and in the southwest Schweich and retire among others passing by Piesport northwesterly along the Moselle, said towns are all on the river.
Nature Spatial allocation
The Moselle mountains belong in the physiographic feature unit group Moselle Valley (No. 25) and in the main unit Middle Mosel Valley ( 250) for subunit Mosel Berge ( 250.2 ), while in the north- west by the main unit Wittlicher Valley (251 ) of the main unit Moseleifel (270 ) as part of the Eifel are separated.

- Mold mountain hut encouraging Berg ( 434.1 m), 1.7 km north of Piesport on the boundary Minheim

- More Inger Berg ( 418.7 m, north-west of Mehring )
- Hans Berg ( 401.8 m), east of Rivenich
- Thomas Berg ( 382.9 m), south of Chiusa
- Rothenberg ( 365.3 m), east of Wengerohr
Watercourses
The southern part of the Moselle mountains is cut in a north-south direction from a portion of Salm, her northern part of northwest-southeast direction from such Lieser - both are tributaries Moselle.
