Mound Station (also called Time Well ) is a village in Brown County in the western part of the U.S. state of Illinois. In 2000, Mound Station had 127 inhabitants.

History

The post office Mound Station was founded in 1860. Created in the environment of the station settlement was elevated to municipality ( Village ) in 1901. 1903, the name of the post office in Timewell was changed. This name repressed in the local parlance as increasingly the name of the place, which was never officially changed.
