Mr. Sam
Mr. Sam ( born February 28, 1975 in Tourcoing, France; birth name Samuel Paquet ) is a French trance DJ and music producer.
Biography
Samuel Paquet grew up in Tourcoing and heard in his childhood, music by Giorgio Moroder, Klaus Schulze and Elvis Presley. After he had bought a single by Depeche Mode, he has not let go of the electronic dance music. At the age of 18, he worked as a DJ in various clubs already.
His first production was a remix of " The Door " by the Circuit Boy, which appeared on the label Diki Records in 1999. His first self-production was the EP " Pressurize ", which appeared at Yeti Records 2002. In 2003, he came at Magik Muzik under contract, a sublabel of Black Hole Recordings owned by Tiësto. One of his most successful productions was the single " Lyteo ", especially the remix of Rank 1, 2006, he released his debut album Lyteo and the following year the remix album Lyteo Interpretations.
Mr. Sam founded in 2008 his own music label Appia Music as a sublabel of Black Hole Records.
