The Baltic Queen is a ferry, which is used by Tallink in regular service between Stockholm and Tallinn. The Baltic Queen was delivered on April 16, 2009 Tallink.

Identical ferries are Baltic Princess and Galaxy.

History

The ship was built under the hull number 1365 at the shipyard STX Europe's Rauma. The building was commissioned on 11 April 2007. At that time the question remained, where the ship is employed. Only on 5 November announced Enn Pant, CEO of Tallink, with that the new ship most likely planned for repair Silja Europa on the route Turku - will replace Stockholm - Mariehamn. The keel-laying ceremony took place on April 22, 2008 in Rauma and launch occurred at the end of the year, on December 5. The ship was christened by the four year-old granddaughter of the Chief of Tallink Silja Oy Keijo Mehtose Mea Mehtonen on the name Baltic Queen (German Baltic Queen ).
