Georg Ots (1980-1992 and since 2002 Russian Георг Отс ) is a ferry, now part of the Russian government and was operated during the Asia-Pacific Economic Forum in autumn 2012 as a hotel ship. It bears the name of the Estonian singer Georg Ots.

History

Georg Ots was on 23 April 1979 with the construction number B 493-1/1 on the Polish shipyard Shipyard in Szczecińska. Adolfa Warskiego in Szczecin Keel-laying. On November 10, 1979, the launch took place. The godmother of the ship was Elvi Koolmeister, an Estonian worker of V. Klementi - sewing factory. After the Georg Ots was delivered on 25 May 1980, she commuted on the Baltic Sea from 1980 to 2000 between Tallinn and Helsinki. Trip through the Northeast Passage

In late summer 2010, the ship happened on 10 to 26 September with icebreaker support the Northeast Passage from Murmansk to Anadyr.
