The Silver Wind is a cruise ship of Silversea Cruises, based in Monaco. It was built in 1994 under the hull number 776 at Genoa, Italy, at the Mariotti shipyard, commissioned in early 1995 and sailing under the flag of the Bahamas with home port of Nassau.
The Silver Wind is the sister ship of less than a year previously commissioned in Silver Cloud, soaked in the interior layout of this but slightly off.
Equipment
Passengers are six of the nine decks available. The 149 cabins (two with disabled access) are referred to by the shipping company all as "suites" and have a minimum size of 22 m². Some suites can be occupied by three people, then a maximum of 319 passengers are possible. There are two restaurants, a theater and a swimming pool. The board language is English.
