Münchhausen Prize

The Munchausen Prize of the City Bodenwerder is awarded to people with special talent in presentation and oratory, fantasy and satire. The doped with a cash prize of 2,500 euro award was donated by the home town of the nobles occasion of the 200th anniversary of the historic Munchausen and exists since 1997.

Hieronymus Karl Frederick Baron von Munchausen was born on 11 May 1720 the good ground Werder on the Weser the light of day.
