The building

The existing building of three wings, formerly Hôtel Manoir de Beauregard called, dates from the 18th century and was built on the land, which belonged to the Couvent des Récollets. The fountain La Fontaine des Quatre Saisons by the French sculptor Edmé Bouchardon adorns the facade of the building ensemble.

After fifteen years of reconstruction, the exhibition area of the museum is 4,250 m² today. In addition to the halls of the permanent exhibition there are spaces for temporary exhibitions, which take place three times a year.
