Museo Rosenbach

Museo Rosenbach is an Italian progressive rock band that was founded in 1971 in Bordighera.

Band History

Museo Rosenbach emerged from two other bands and published in 1973 her debut Zarathustra, a concept album about Nietzsche's philosophy. The album was at the time, probably heavily criticized because of Nietzsche's superman concept and a Mussolini - image in the artwork and the band broke up soon. Today Zarathustra is considered a classic of the Italian progressive rock.

Giancarlo Golzi remained musically active and founded in 1975 Matia Bazar. Once in the 1990s had come back interest in the band and some unreleased recordings were available, the original members Moreno and Golzi Museo Rosenbach founded new. A second studio album, released in 2000, however, it was rather similar to the Italopop. In 2012, Museo Rosenbach played in slightly different crew, their debut album, and re- published in 2013 a new studio album, which represented as a return to the musical roots.
