Müşfik Kenter

Müşfik Kenter ( born September 8, 1932 in Istanbul, † August 15, 2012 ) was a Turkish actor, who won the Golden Orange for Best Supporting Actor at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival 1966.

Life

Kenter made ​​his acting debut in 1960 in Disi kurt directed by Ömer Lutfi Akad on the side of Ulvi Uraz and Sezer Sezin. In the following nearly fifty years he played roles in thirty films and television series, and received in 1966 for his performance in Bozuk düzen (1966 ) by director Haldun Dormen with Belgin Doruk and Ekrem Bora the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, the Golden Orange for Best Supporting Actor. Most recently, he played in 2009 the role of " Tevfik " in the television series Avrupa Yakasi.

In addition, he was also a renowned stage actor in Turkey and played numerous stage roles in Kenter Tiyatrosu whose owner he was. His special trademark was his distinctive voice that can be heard among other things, a sound recording of poems of Orhan Veli KANIK.

Kenter, a younger brother of the well known actress Yıldız Kenter (* 1928), was at times married to actress Gülsün Kamu and died of pneumonia.
