Mutiu Adepoju

Mutiu Adepoju ( born December 22, 1970 in Ibadan ) is a former Nigerian football player.

After various stations in his home the midfielder in 1989 moved to Castilla CF, the second team of Real Madrid, the Spanish Segunda División. There he spent three seasons before he was transferred to the then playing in the same category Racing Santander. In the very first season in 1992/93 achieved promotion to the Primera División, where he still spent three more years at the Kantabriern. In the summer of 1996 he moved to Real Sociedad, where he remained until 2000. This year, the Nigerian left after eleven years of Spanish football to play a season in Saudi Arabia for Al -Ittihad. After a brief return to the Iberian Peninsula to UD Salamanca Mutiu went in the Turkish Süper Lig Samsunspor and had to finally after a season his career at AEL Limassol in Cyprus bar.

Mutiu Adepoju played a total of 49 games for the Nigerian national football team, with her he participated in the World Cups in 1994, 1998 and 2002. He was also part of the banns at the African Cup of Nations 1992 and the Confederations Cup 1995.
