My Shameful

My Shameful is a Finnish Doom and Death metal band that was founded in 1999.

History

The band was founded in 1999 by Sami Rautio and Harri Jussila. The following year, both published the first three demos, with a drum machine was used to this. The first two demos released in 2000, while the third appeared in 2001 with the Italian label Nocturnal Music as an EP. Thus, the band reached a deal with Firebox Records. Then, the debut album Of All the Wrong Things has been inserted, Rautio was the only remaining member of the band at this time. The album was released in 2003. The second album ... of Dust followed in 2004 with Rautio was still the only member of the band. After release of the album the drummer Mark Napier, guitarist Mario Hahn and bassist Twist the process of casting. In 2005, the band held nine appearances from, including one each in Prague and Berlin. The last concert of the year held the group together with Debris Inc. from Wurzburg. 2006 followed the next album The Return to Nothing. In 2007 the band played at the Berlin Popkomm and the Way of Darkness Festival in Bamberg. In the years 2008 and 2013, the albums Descend and Penance joined.

Style

On ... of Dust, the band was able to be compared from the previous My Dying Bride solve noisy Melanie Aschenbrenner from Metal Hammer. The music is usually very slow and the riffs repetitive. According to Christian Hector from Metal Hammer, the band was on The Return to Nothing now shut down the pace completely, whereas the band of Dust ... this would still occasionally raised. The album was also monotonous and extreme than the previous two. The Growling is underlaid with a hoarse screech, and it would also occasionally clean vocals are used. Had been omitted on the album on keyboards. Hector ordered the album to the Funeral Doom.
