Mylo

Mylo ( born May 10, 1978 to Skye; actually Myles MacInnes ) is a Scottish musician and DJ.

MacInnes first studied philosophy, psychology and physiology at Oxford University and in 1999 for his PhD at University College London. Here he dropped out after two years of the study and returned to his Scottish home, to concentrate on his musical career as a house producer and DJ can.

Together with Linus Loves, he founded the record label Breastfed in Glasgow. Was published in 2004 under the title Destroy Rock & Roll Mylos debut album, which he recorded in his bedroom on an Apple Power Macintosh. It reached in his home country immediately the charts and sold approximately 190,000 times so far. In Germany he was known primarily for a mashup version of his song Drop the Pressure and the Gloria Estefan song - Doctor Beat. It was published in 2005 and bears the name of Doctor Pressure.

The follow-up single In My Arms was based on a sample from the song Bette Davis Eyes by Kim Carnes.

After his success Mylo has been commissioned by many famous artists with remixes, including Kylie Minogue (I Believe in You ), Scissor Sisters (Mary ) and The Killers ( Somebody Told Me).
