Nacho (footballer born 1990)
José Ignacio Fernández Iglesias (usually only Nacho; * 18 January 1990 in Madrid ) is a Spanish football player. His preferred position is central defense, sometimes he also plays on the wing. He is currently under contract at Real Madrid.
Career
The first station of Nacho Fernández as a junior was AD Complutense. In summer 2001, the then eleven year old joined the offspring of Real Madrid. The Brussels residents, he held various age classes and debuted on September 7, 2008 in the Second Team Real Madrid Castilla, where he only sporadically was used this season. For the season 2009/10 he finally went over to the squad of the B- team and quickly secured a regular place in central defense. His debut in the first team celebrated Nacho Fernández on April 23, 2011 in a league match against FC Valencia. Also on the next Matchday he was against Real Zaragoza for the first squad in use. In the season 2011/12 Nacho succeeded with Real Madrid Castilla in the Segunda División the rise.
For the 2012/13 season Nacho Fernández was included in the senior squad and brought it to nine league assignments as full-back, six of them in the starting lineup. In parallel, Nacho División played for Real Madrid Castilla in the Segunda.
National
Nacho Fernández won with Spain U- 17 Championship 2007. Moreover, he achieved the same year with the national team the final of the U- 17 World Cup, where his team failed in a penalty shootout in Nigeria. In the U-19 European Championship 2009 Nacho was also in the squad of the Spaniards, but they eliminated in the preliminary round of. His debut in the U -21, he celebrated 24 March 2011 against France. In June 2013 he won the U-21 European Championship with his selection.
In September 2013 Nacho was appointed national coach Vicente del Bosque for the first time in the squad of the national team and celebrated on the 10th of this month in a friendly match against Chile his debut in the " Selección ".
