Naima Mora

Naima Mora ( * March 1, 1984 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American model and winner of the fourth season of America's Next Top Model.

Private life

Naima Mora was born on 1 March 1984 in Detroit. She is the daughter of Francisco Mora Catlett, a Mexican jazz drummer. He is half Mexican and half African American. Her mother is also half African- American, Irish to the other half. It got its name from John Coltrane's song " Naima ". Naima has five sisters, including her identical twin sister, Nia.

Her grandparents are painter Francisco Mora and sculptress Elizabeth Catlett. Naima is considered as the inspiration for the black marble bust of her grandmother in 2001.
