Nancy Oliver
Nancy Oliver ( born February 8, 1955) is an American screenwriter. Your script for Lars and the Real Girl has won several awards.
Life
Oliver studied literature at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Theatre Studies at Florida State University in Tallahassee. There she got to know Alan Ball and founded with him a theater group, the General Nonsense Theatre Company. After studying Oliver worked as a writer and director for various theaters in Florida. 1997 Oliver moved to Los Angeles, shortly after she got as a writer on the HBO series Six Feet Under - Died is always on, for the three seasons they wrote the screenplays and acted as co -producer.
With Lars and the Real Girl, she wrote the first time the script for a feature film, and was nominated for and awarded several prizes. Since 2008, Oliver worked for the TV series True Blood.
