Narciso Rodriguez

Narciso Rodriguez ( born January 27, 1961 in New Jersey) is an American fashion designer.

Life

Rodriguez grew up in Newark, New Jersey, on. After his schooling and studied Rodriguez of The New School in New York City art and design. After graduating Rodriguez initially worked independently as a fashion designer and then got a job at Anne Klein Moder Creator under Donna Karan. Later, Rodriguez moved to Calvin Klein, where he designed women's clothing mainly. As of 1995, Rodriguez was fashion designer at Cerruti in Paris. He received greater attention in the fashion world in 1996 for the wedding dress of Carolyn Bessette - Kennedy. After he had financial problems in the meantime, succeeded in by a new design of future professional success. In May 2007, the company Liz Claiborne acquired a 50 percent stake in his label. His clients in the 1990s and 2000s include Salma Hayek, Claire Danes, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rachel Weisz, and Sonia Braga.

2003 saw a woman's perfume Rodriguez For Her collaboration with Shiseido on the market. A Men Perfume For Him followed in July 2007. On 4 November 2008 Michelle Obama wore a dress by Narciso Rodriguez from his spring collection 2009 in Grant Park in Chicago. Rodriguez was one of the election campaign of Barack Obama for its strong supporters in the fashion world.
