Narciso Villaver Abellana

Narciso Abellana Villaver MSC ( born November 11, 1953 in Talisay City, Cebu Province, Philippines ) is Bishop of Romblon.

Life

Narciso Abellana joined the Congregation of the Sacred Heart Missionaries and put on 2 June 1977, the perpetual profession from. He received on 28 December 1978, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On October 15, 2013, Pope Francis appointed as Bishop of Romblon. The Archbishop of Lingayen - Dagupan, Socrates Buenaventura Villegas, donated to him on 11 December of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of San Jose, Roberto Mallari Calara, and the Bishop of Cabanatuan, Sofronio Aguirre Bancud SSS. The inauguration took place on 9 January 2014.
