The Narran River is a river in eastern Australia on the border between the states of Queensland and New South Wales. Together with the Culgoa River and the Bokhara River is the Narran River, an arm of the Balonne River - and the easternmost of the three. It flows south on the Barwon River, a source of the river Darling River to, but not reached in, but ends in endorheic Narran Lake north of the Barwon River.

In March 2010, the Narran River flooded in Angledool the Angledool Lake and then ran into the Weetalabah Creek over which crosses the Castlereagh Highway. This also completed the Coocoran Lake near Lightning Ridge same happened in the great flood in Queensland in late January / early February 2011.
