Nasif Estéfano

Nasif Moisés Estéfano ( born November 18, 1932 in Concepción, † 21 October 1973 Aimogasta, Argentina) was an Argentine racing driver.

Nasif Estéfano came to Europe in 1962 in order for the Scuderia De Tomaso at the Grand Prix of Italy to go to the start. In Formula 1, he had two years before debuting at the Grand Prix of Argentina on a Maserati 250F. His first Grand Prix he was able to finish 14th, 1962 in Monza, however, he missed the qualification. Before he returned to South America, he was, together with Andrea Vianini fifth in the 12 Hours of Reims. His car was a Porsche 904GTS.

After his return he was in 1965 and 1966 Argentine Formula 3 champion. In 1973, he was killed in an endurance race in his homeland.
