Natalia Troitskaya

Natalya Leonidovna Troitskaja (Russian Наталья Леонидовна Троицкая, scientific transliteration Natal'ja Leonidovna Troickaja; * 1951 in Belgrade, † April 9, 2006 in Moscow) was a Russian opera singer.

The soprano was from 1984 to 1991 member of the Vienna State Opera, where it has the title roles in Tosca, Manon Lescaut, Aida and Il Trovatore sung on 34 evenings. Also in the Arena of Verona and other major opera houses she was a guest. Among her most famous roles included the Aida and Tatyana in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin.

Since 1995 she has taught at the school in Moscow Gnessins singing and also gave master classes. Her stage partners included, among other Plácido Domingo and José Carreras.
