History

Through a constitutional law of 26 October 1951, by a meeting held on December 16, 1951 election of the population of Uruguay, was the existing Constitution of the Republic of Uruguay in 1934, in the present version of November 29th of 1942, with a new Constitution consisting replaced from 332 articles.
