National numbering agency
A national numbering agency (NNA ) is the national organization that is responsible for the allocation of ISINs of each country. There are typically national securities exchanges or securities service.
In Germany, this function is performed by the securities (WM ), in Austria by the Austrian Control Bank and in Switzerland by SIX Telekurs.
As a global umbrella organization is the Association of National Numbering Agencies ( ANNA ), which coordinates the work of NNAs.
