Nelly Landry

Nelly Adamson Landry ( born December 28, 1916 in Bruges, † 22 February 2010) was a Belgian and French ( after her marriage ) tennis player.

She won in 1948 at the French Tennis Championships, the women's singles. She defeated in the finals Shirley Fry 6:2, 0:6 and 6:0. In 1938, she stood in the final, but was defeated Frenchwoman Simone Mathieu.

She was first married to the American writer 's death Robbins (1888-1949) married. Her other husbands were French tennis player Marcel Renault and Pierre Landry.
