Nerlens Noel

Nerlens Noel ( born April 10, 1994 in Everett, Massachusetts) is an American professional basketball player.

Noel played one year for the University of Kentucky. He was considered the greatest talent in the country and secure the number one pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. On 12 February 2013, Noel injured and suffered a cruciate ligament injury, which made him turn out for the rest of the season. His first year he finished with 10.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 4.4 blocks per game from. Despite his serious injury, he signed up to the Draft.

In NBA Draft 2013 Noel was traded the first pick. But he was not selected until the 6th place of the New Orleans Pelicans. This sent him shortly afterwards with a future pick to the Philadelphia 76ers, where he spent, however, due to the torn ACL in the first half year, no minutes on the court. In return, Jrue Holiday moved to New Orleans.
