The Nice is about 43 km long, left or southern tributary of the heart in Lower Saxony ( Germany ).

Nice jump

It rises on the western edge of the Harz in the so-called Nice jump. The karst spring located on the outskirts of Lord Hausen am Harz ( district of Seesen ) below the charming mountain. There is a small pot of the source has a typical bluish color.

Course

Immediately after their source, they pass under the railway through a passage route. The Cute flows northward through the northwestern Harz foothills and the Ambergau in Innerste England.

The Cute happened these hills: Heber and Harplage in the west and Hainberg in the east. It then flows through the towns of Lord Hausen am Harz (source) Bilderlahe, Rhüden ( districts of Seesen ) Bornum, Königsdahlum (part of Bockenem ) Bockenem and Holle. Finally it flows north-north- west of the grove hill near Derneburg, a part of hell, into the core.

The Cute has especially after the snow melt in the resin often led flood which caused some damage in the carrying places. For several years, is largely eliminated by investing smaller flood polders in the wetlands between Seesen Bilderlahe and Seesen Rhüden this danger.

Name

The river name Cute means literally "river in the valley ." He is a word related to the rivers Nidda and networks.
