New Richmond is located in the north- western suburbs of the Twin -cities, 15 km east of the St. Croix River, which forms the border with Minnesota. The city is located at 45 ° 07'11 " north latitude and 92 ° 32'21 " west longitude and extending over 24.22 km ².
