River Falls is a town in Pierce County and St. Croix County in the north of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010 he was one of 15,000 inhabitants in an area of 115.7 km.
Geography
River Falls is located on the Kinnickinnic River in the metropolitan area of Minneapolis - Saint Paul. In 40-60 km to the west is in the Minnesota Twin Cities Minneapolis -Saint Paul.
History
River Falls was founded in 1848 by Joel Foster and his servant by the name of Greenwood. Later renamed to its present name was because there was already a three other places named Greenwood in Wisconsin.
