Next Time We Love is an American melodrama by Edward H. Griffith in 1936, in which Margaret Sullavan and James Stewart took over the lead roles. The film is based on the novel Next Time We Live by Ursula Parrott, which appeared in 1935.

Action

Cicely actually works as a teacher. When she wants to get on the train after the holidays to pick up their work again, asks her friend, the newspaper reporter Christopher Tyler, her what would happen if they would not take this train. Cicely stays with him and marry both spontaneously. His newlywed wife now accepted that her husband will be traveling a lot as a foreign correspondent - so she knows him, and under this condition she married him. And so it is not her husband, to whom she revealed her pregnancy at first, but his best friend, the actor Tommy Abbott. The joint kit child comes into the world, just as Christopher dwells in Rome. Totally surprised he travels back to the U.S. in order to assist his weakened woman can. His paper thus missed important headlines. Production

Originally Francis Lederer should take on the role of Christopher Tyler in Next Time We Love, however, was not free at the time. Margaret Sullavan was able to prevail at Universal Pictures that you borrowed the almost unknown at the time James Stewart as her co-star at MGM.
